Safeguarding Commitment Statement

Holy Cross Seminary is committed to ensuring that all people are safeguarded from harm and all are respected and nurtured. There is a clear expectation that at all times and under all circumstances, everyone will uphold the ethical and moral commitment we have to those we serve. Accordingly, a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse or safety violations is expected. All at the seminary must uphold and demonstrate through their actions and interactions the duty we have towards children and all vulnerable people. Our commitment to safeguarding also includes a commitment to learning and development. Holy Cross Seminary provides seminarians and staff with ongoing formation and training which equips them with the knowledge and skills required. Importantly, the ongoing evolution of our practices and policies is informed through genuine engagement with all whom we encounter.
